Russian radio in Kansas City has some people in a kerfuffle. The Russians have shown they want to spread confusion, misinformation, and divisiveness in our country. It is odd that the Russians feel it is necessary to have their own radio station in Kansas City to accomplish their goals. The people of North Dakota can watch Fox News, and listen to our local right wing radio station and get the same confusing distortions and lies the Russians want to put on the airwaves in Kansas. President Trump just gave the medal of freedom to Rush Limbaugh for doing exactly what the Russians think will destroy our democracy. Propaganda works best with poorly informed people driven by emotion. Trump and the Republican party have shown there are an abundance of poorly informed people willing to stand idly by while Trump shreds the constitution, pardons his rich criminal friends, and fabricates his version of reality. Russia has realized how economical it is to use their Republican allies to destroy our country. Who needs nuclear weapons when we have nuclear liars.
