They are everywhere, rocks, big rocks, medium sized, and every size and shape. When we moved in the builder said " Take all you want". Yesterday the same builder pointed at a huge rock weighing many tons an said "That rock is worth a thousand dollars". According to some of the construction people around here the rocks here are unique. Hard to believe, but they do seem a little different. There are reddish sandstone rocks here. Other than this hill most of the other rocks on other locations are more of a granite or something else. Everyone here landscapes with rocks. Winky and Kadizzle have been moving rocks for weeks. Putting a rock in place is worse than any puzzle. Of course Winky and Kadizzle cannot agree on which side of a rock to point where, nor can we decide which side faces out, nor the quality. Rocks have more qualities than one might imagine. Flat rocks are wonderful, and square rocks are wonderful, they fit, but Winky loves the rocks with green moss. A moss rock will make Winky swoon. Looking at rock walls you learn to appreciate a skilled person. In not time at all you are looking at all rock work as art. One thing Kadizzle has deep respect for are the ancients who built with rock. The native Americans have some amazing rock work around her that is thousands of years old. People have always used rock, it has an enduring quality.
