The Old Grandpa

Here we sit in Vermont with the two grandchildren.  Being a grandpa is a lot of work.  Entertaining Evie is a job.  In the hot tub, building with Legos ,  telling bear stories,  chasing around, it is all a lot of work.  An  Eastern fall is a pleasant change with all the trees.  We rode the ebikes up the mountain for a nice view.  We have been very worried about the Trumpster.  Who could replace him as a liar?  Without the Trumpster we just could not understand the world, we would not know what the Chinese are up to or the liberals.  

There is no housing shortage

With Dear Leader coming down with the virus that would seem to be the topic for today, but old Kadizzle has something else on his mind.  Winky and Kadizzle are planted at a very large ski resort in Vermont.  Of course there is no snow and no skiing.  What is amazing is the vast number of empty homes, apartments, and various lodging.  If someone took inventory of all the nice housing in this country they quickly find everyone could have a nice place to live.  Across this country high quality housing sits empty.  Even more amazing are the people working from home.  This means thousands of office buildings are empty.  That means even more potential housing.  Poverty in the United States is a distribution problem.  When those on top take it all there is little left for those on the bottom.  We pile up the poor in the cities, and live like kings in the country.  

Another Blast off

Winky is packing today's supplies.  The pickup packed with Megan's treasures sits outside ready to go the last six hours to Vermont.  Once there we get to see Megan and her family of two little pumpkins.  The leaves are turning and the scenery is great.  Not looking forward to the drive back to Stanton.  The TV is on inches away and Trump is back pedaling as fast as he can.  North Dakota has it's version of the Proud Boys, Kevin Cramer, Kelly Armstrong, and John Hoeven.  These guys are the perfect lickspittles for Trump.  Vote the rat out.  Dear Leader has to go. If you don't realize Dear Leader is mentally ill by now, you are. 

Bike Riding Summer

 This has turned out to be the summer of the ebike.  Today Winky and Kadizzle took a wonderful ebike ride along the shore of the great lakes.  Near Marquette we found some absolutely wonderful trails through the forest.  Met a nice biker girl yesterday at the visitor center of the National Forest.  Hi, if you are reading this. Had a great discussion on politics and the need for young people to fight the evil of the Republicans.  Crossed the Mackinac bridge and are headed south then east to Vermont. 

Fun at Breakfast

Picking up our breakfast at the Inn Kadizzle was having a discussion with the kitchen help.  A Trump Cult member overhead Kadizzle talking and broke into the conversation.  Kadizzle confronted the Trump cultist about the breaking news on Trump's taxes.  Kadizzle got into a shouting match with the cult guy.  The cult guy took off down the hall and Kadizzle had fun yelling at him "  Your in a cult".  The world is under a spell of idiocy.  Fox News so far has refused to report on the Trump tax scandal. 

 

Major homework assignment

 You must watch and share the video below.  The information will be on the test, and if you fail the test you will automatically be assigned a D for the course.  This is the most important video in a long time.  If you want to help defeat Dear Leader you have to make this information go viral.  At Kadizzle headquarters we have top secret computers that monitor everything you are doing and we will hold you responsible if Trump is elected.  We know who you are and see what you do, don't take any chances.

The Wagon rolls East

 Shortly the wagon will head to Vermont.  Going to be a long trip. The new diesel should be a pleasure it has every bell and whistle.  Winky wants to go the long way up north to avoid Chicago.  This will be the first drive East in over fifty years.  Sad to drive across our country and see it crumbling under the Republican dictatorship.  Read the NYT today and see the article on China and what China is doing. China is going to be the world leader in no time. China is addressing infrastructure while all we do is build yachts for the rich. Republican delusion, idiocy, and greed is rampant. Winky and Kadizzle did their best ot vote out the rats in North Dakota, but the system is rigged and our votes are meaningless.  Democrats don't even bother to run, it is hopeless. In North Dakota the mice vote for the cats. The biggest crop in North Dakota is now rednecks. 

The Day went by

Up early we hustled to town and packed daughter Megan's Earthly treasures so we can haul them to Philadelphia on Sunday .  This summer has seen some long driving. Two trips to western Montana, and now one to the East coast.  The rack is on the back of the truck for the ebikes.  

Every day when you think things cannot get much crazier Trump out does himself with lies and fraud.  The latest is on TV in front of us.  Trump spinning the ballot nonsense in Pennsylvania.  Stooping low is his favorite trick.  Such a lying scum and his good Christians eat it up.  Proud of my two preacher friends who are fighting the Trump evil. 

Have been putting solar on the Earth module.  If we have to dry camp we should be able to pull enough power from the sun to survive.  

Watch Thomas Friedman

 Thomas Friedman is a scholar and not a KFYR radio mental case.  Watch his comments on CNN.  Friedman says we are on the verge of a civil war.  If old Kadizzle can post his video here he will. 

Sorry

Sorry to beat it to death, but the insanity in this country has become scary.  Watching the news this morning and seeing how this conspiracy theory insanity is spreading is frightening.  People are believing total nonsense.  The claims that the Democrats are running a sex ring are beyond belief.  Tune in to right wing radio for just a minute or two if you can stand it.  The lies are flying like leaves in the fall.  In our lifetime North Dakota has gone from reasonable to absolute stupidity.  No lie is too big.  The bigger the better. 

Insanity

 Kadizzle is back to our country estate.  Winky and Kadizzle are up extremely early in the bizarre world of Trump.  CNN just broke the news about Putin directly supporting Trump.  Not an ounce,  Kadizzle does not have one ounce of respect for anyone who is still a Republican.  We have friends inflicted with the disease of stupidity that causes them to support the Republican party.  You do not abandon someone because they have a disease.  You try your best to pull them from the cult.  It is so sad to see people you know in the cult.  Yesterday a good friend made remarks about the scary negroes in the big cities.  Of course they said it in a subtle way, but this is what the country has come to.  People who just want to be treated fairly are scary.  The reality is the rich fear the poor are going to take back what the rich have stolen.   You do not make 100 times what someone else does without stealing.  Make up any story you want, but the reality this is a class war.  Trump is a dictator for the rich.  You can spin it any way you want, but the facts speak for themselves.

At the mercy of the sun

 Solar power is the new norm for the Earth Module.  We bought a new solar panel and are relying on it to charge the ebikes.  Winky's bike is charged, but Kadizzle has to wait for the sun to fully charge his bike.  Kadizzle is thinking of buying one more panel, but Winky is resisting.  Harvesting sunlight is kind of like growing a garden.  We have a generator, but prefer not to use it.  Today may be another ebike adventure.  Kadizzle is amazed about the excellent ebike riding here in the Badlands.  The views are amazing, and the trails are very good.  A lot of good planning went into these trails.  The trails are not for the weak of heart or those afraid of high places.  You could make a mistake and be in big trouble in some places.  In a few places you are riding on the edge of a cliff.  Of course you could do this on a regular pedal bike, but you would need to be in good condition.  This summer we have probably done more than one hundred miles on the Ma Da Hey trail.  The 21 mile ride yesterday was our longest continuous ride.

If people do not wake up and vote Trump out we are well on our way to a dictatorship once they sew up the supreme court. 

Adventure Abounding

 The Earth Module sits deep in the Badlands.  Winky and Kadizzle just completed 21 miles of ebike riding through some fabulous country.  Shanika showed up and slept in his truck,  Lauren and Pat came in their Glamper and we had a nice campfire.  A visit by a couple drunken cowboys was a highlight.  The two cowboys have recently starred in some films being filmed in the badlands.  The cloud of boredom has lifted and there are tales to tell.  Shanika and the Donoviches have taken off for home so we are alone deep in the Badlands.  The trail riding here is indescribable.  Unquestionably it is some of the best riding for bike in the universe.  Winky and Kidizzle have done more than a hundred miles in the Badlands this summer. If you have some energy and a bike this is something you need on your bucket list. The cowboys were going to sell us some beef, but we are too tired to get over to their place and get it. 

Our Country is melting

Not only are the flames melting the country, but so are the lies.  Kadizzle briefly turned on the local propaganda station yesterday and heard Rush Limbaugh lying at a pace Trump would be proud of.  Rush was making up conspiracy theories so fast.  Of course the simple minded want a second helping of lies.  Kadizzle finds it hard to believe KFYR radio spews lies for four hours every morning.  It must work they are still in business.  If you want to see the fruits of the lying just look at the Trump flags spouting across the landscape.  The Russians must be dancing the troika.  Using the voluronable minds of the fundies the Russians are enjoying their dream of destroying us with propaganda.    

Life in the country

 Kadizzle has become comfortable in our new temporary home.  Mrs. Kadizzle is looking at some pretty pricey homes in AZ.  May as well go out in style.  The smoke in the air yesterday was remarkable.  Below is posted a video on West Virginia.  There are some good shots of my old home town of Wheeling toward the end of the video.  If you are bored you might enjoy it.  The video brings back memories of growing up.  The video mentions that Wheeling was the richest city in the country in 1894.  

Winky is making an expedition to Bismarck today.  Kadizzle will stay back here and try to entertain himself.  The Earth Module is packed and ready for our trip to the Badlands.  The plan is to do some more trail riding on the ebikes.  

One of the nicest things out here in the country by Stanton is the quiet.  Once in a while the train goes by, otherwise the silence is deafening.  

Change is in the air.  The election will be a lifetime event.  The country will sink into the deepest swamp ever or rise above the ignorance that has spread quicker than the fires.  Our ability to become oblivious to disaster is amazing.  The planet is being destroyed, we have a mentally ill president, the economy is in shambles, and no one cares.  We don't need a president to lie to us, we do a good job of lying to ourselves.

He lies to protect us

It has become clear President Trump will lie to protect us from panicking.  This creates a big problem.  How do we know when he is lying to protect himself or lying to protect us. President Trump has declared himself a stable genius. It gives me comfort to know we have a stable genius to decide when to lie and when to tell the truth. Sometimes adults lie to children because we love them and want to protect them.  We are all just children in president Trump’s mind and we can be thankful he would risk his reputation to protect us. Politics is a team sport.  If you support the Trump team, fly your Trump flag proudly.  Trump’s lies that protect us cannot be effective if he does not have the support of our North Dakota congressional delegation.  Every good citizen of North Dakota should be thankful for Kevin Cramer, Kelly Armstrong, and John Hoeven.  Our delegation risks their reputation supporting the lies Trump tells to avoid panic among us.  We must all understand not everyone can handle the truth.  Thankfully we have leaders that know when to protect us from the truth.
