Bums migrate. As the weather gets warmer the bums like the birds start to move. The other day we saw a bum thirty miles from Payson walking along with a sleeping bag over his shoulder hanging almost to the ground. The next day the bum walker was in Payson. Bums like to walk. Most bums must be healthy judging from how much they walk.
Coming back from Phoenix Kadizzle saw his head of bum security driving south in his bum wagon. During the political campaign Kadizzle had a bum watch the signs that were being stolen. That is how bum security was started. This particular bum has an old beat up class C motorhome. Usually you can see him at the Safeway parking lot and he has a couple of corners where he likes to beg.
Bum watching is like bird watching. One local bum likes to make rock carions. Can't spell it, but it is a pile of carefully balanced rocks. His work is all over town.
Lady bums are a little more rare, but you sometimes see a woman bum. Bums add character to a community. Nowadays a lot of bums have some old motor home they park in the woods. You can drive onto forest land on the edge of town and see the bum wagons. Not to far from our house is a bum nest in the woods. Usually a good bum nest has an old tent and some thrown together shelter.
Housekeeping is not a high bum priority and often their bum encampments are a mess. Bums are collectors and at their next they are like some birds that just bring back anything that strikes them. The old traditional bums use shopping carts. The town and the forest service like to chase bums around, but it never works.
