Wild Horses on the Salt River

Ruth and Roger pass the wild horses on the Salt River. Apparently people who have no practical way to get rid of horses let them loose in the Tonto National Forest. On the river float yesterday we came across a herd getting a drink. Sometimes they come through the campground. Took on some water in a bigger rapid yesterday, but it was a very nice trip. We went from the dam clear to the next dam. Ruth saw a lot of trout in some areas. Today we may go to the art fair in Fountian Hills, and then scout for a new camp spot with Indian Ruins over on the Agua Fria.
