Spend five minutes in a Facebook comment thread on any local news story, and chances are you’ll find it: a MAGA follower making some wild, obscene sexual reference. The story could be about potholes, the weather, or a bake sale, and somehow we end up talking about drag queens, genitalia, or how Joe Biden is secretly turning kids gay. It’s not just an online phenomenon either—bump into a hard-right Republican at a coffee shop or the gas station and just wait. Somehow, some way, the conversation will detour into transgender bathrooms, gay marriage, or their deep-seated fear of books in libraries that mention the existence of sex.
What gives?
Why is the MAGA wing of the Republican Party so obsessed with sex? And not just healthy, adult conversations about sex, but twisted, fearful, paranoid ideas about it. To hear them tell it, sex is lurking around every corner, waiting to corrupt their children, poison their schools, and topple the very foundations of the Republic. It’s like they see a Pride flag and immediately need therapy.
Let’s unpack this a bit.
First off, there’s a heavy dose of projection going on. Many MAGA loyalists accuse others—teachers, librarians, LGBTQ people—of being “obsessed with sex,” when they themselves bring it up constantly. They can’t stop talking about “groomers,” “porn in schools,” and who’s using what bathroom. If anyone else were that fixated on these topics, we’d be deeply concerned. But somehow, when it comes from the right wing, it’s “protecting the children.”
Ironically, the more they scream about it, the more it looks like they’re the ones with unresolved issues.
The truth is, this sexual hysteria is a political tool. It’s been used for decades, from Anita Bryant’s anti-gay crusades in the ’70s to the “Satanic Panic” of the ’80s. Now it’s the “trans panic” of the 2020s. It works because fear is powerful. Scaring people into thinking their children are under attack makes them easy to manipulate. Just toss out a few inflammatory buzzwords—“woke,” “drag,” “groomer,” “porn”—and boom, you’ve got a loyal voter base frothing at the mouth and ready to pull the lever for whoever promises to save them.
There’s also a deep cultural undercurrent here: sex is about control. Who’s allowed to have it, who’s allowed to talk about it, and whose bodies get policed. MAGA ideology is obsessed with maintaining traditional gender roles and a very narrow version of morality. Any deviation—whether it’s a transgender person living authentically, or a school teaching comprehensive sex ed—is viewed as a threat to their entire worldview. It shakes the foundation of the good ol’ days they desperately want to return to (you know, when people knew their place and kept their secrets).
And then there’s the irony so thick you could butter toast with it: the loudest voices screaming about pornography are often the ones secretly consuming it in record numbers. Studies have shown that some of the most conservative states have the highest porn viewership. It’s the old preacher-who-gets-caught-in-the-motel-room story, just scaled up to national politics.
It would be funny if it weren’t so sad—and dangerous. When MAGA folks obsessively inject sexual fear into every political conversation, they’re not just being weird or crass. They’re distracting from real issues: healthcare, climate, wages, corruption. They’re demonizing innocent people to score political points. And they’re feeding a toxic stew of ignorance and hate.
So the next time a MAGA warrior brings up genitals in a school board meeting or posts a comment about drag queens on a story about zoning laws, remember: this isn’t about protecting children. It’s about fear, power, and projection.
And frankly, it’s exhausting.
Mayor, Council Members, and Fellow Citizens,
I come before you today not in anger, but in defense of truth and civility.
Recently, both the Mayor and another council member made false public statements about me. When I approached them—in a public place, calmly and without threats—simply asking for a conversation about these falsehoods, I was accused of “assault.”
Let’s be clear: disagreement is not assault. Asking someone to explain their words is not assault. The law defines assault as an act that causes another person to fear imminent physical harm. At no point did I raise my voice, use threatening language, or make any physical move toward anyone. The only thing I brought with me was a request for honesty and accountability.
Calling a civil conversation “assault” is not just a misuse of the word—it’s a dangerous distortion. It silences public discourse. It weaponizes fear. And it attempts to paint political disagreement as violence.
This is a small town. We all live here. We see each other at the grocery store, the post office, and the park. We must be able to confront lies without being slandered ourselves.
Public officials should be held to a higher standard. If they misrepresent a citizen, that citizen has every right—every responsibility—to seek clarification and defend their name.
I’m here tonight to say: I will not be intimidated. And I hope this council understands the difference between disagreement and aggression. Our community deserves honest dialogue, not fear-based accusations.

The thought often goes through the mind of the many days spent sailing Lake Sakakawea. As the song goes " I've got to remember, its a fine memory. So many nights under the stars anchored in a secure cover sleeping the best sleep one could have with a gentle breeze blowing through the boat as the Sovereign kept her head to the wind. It was a fine boat taught and true. Good sailing friends are missed and the magic of moving without a motor. The storms, the calms, the all night sails, the races, and watching our girls grow up as sailors.
My old friend Mike F. likes to hold a protest sign on highway 87. You can gauge the traffic by how many nice waves and happy faces you see versus, the number of mean nasty MAGA dogs that give the finger. People seem to have given up on the orange rat, Trump. Very few nasty dogs went by. In Payson a lot of the traffic passes through from Phoenix. People seem to have awakened to what a disaster Trump is. The best indication was the turnout last week when about 450 normals turned out to object to the orange menace, and the MAGA dogs had a little over twenty. The MAGA dogs seem on the run. At the Donuts with Democrats yesterday we had another good turn out. Maybe the tide has turned.
One of the crown jewels of American democracy is our justice system. It’s not perfect, but in principle, it's built on a brilliant foundation: facts are weighed by neutral parties—judges or juries—who are sworn to consider evidence and arrive at the truth. We may take it for granted, but that system stands in stark contrast to the circus of misinformation unfolding daily on social media, especially right here in Payson, Arizona.
On Facebook and other local forums, truth is often treated like a nuisance—something to be twisted, omitted, or trampled if it gets in the way of a good partisan rant or a conspiracy theory. Half-truths, cherry-picked facts, and outright lies are tossed around like horseshoes at a backyard barbecue. And heaven help you if you try to inject facts into the fray. The response is usually name-calling, deflection, or silence.
But there is a solution. It's radical in its simplicity: let the people who spin falsehoods meet the people who have the facts—in person. You know, like in a civilized society. Face to face, fact versus fiction. Let’s bring back the idea that truth should be something we see, not something we just scroll past.
Kadizzle, who has been repeatedly smeared by the usual local fabricators, has made this offer many times: meet me, and I’ll show you the facts. The records, the evidence, the truth—laid out plainly. Not surprisingly, most of the local blowhards decline. Some don’t even respond. Others retreat behind excuses: “I’m afraid,” they say. “I don’t want a confrontation.” That’s convenient. They’ll hurl accusations from the safety of a keyboard, but won’t back it up in a public, peaceful setting.
To make it even easier, Kadizzle has offered neutral venues: the public library, the police station, anywhere civil and safe. But still, the offer is ignored. Why? Because when facts enter the room, lies have to leave.
If we want anything resembling a functioning democracy—locally or nationally—we need to reclaim the value of truth. And that starts with accountability. Until the liars in Payson are willing to stand behind their claims in person, in the light of day, we can all safely assume they don’t have facts. They have Facebook.
Hoople Logic on Full Display
Kadizzle has been stirring the pot again on a local Facebook page, and the responses from the MAGA faithful—what we affectionately call the Hoopleheads—have been revealing.
First off, it’s clear that thoughtful dialogue isn’t their strong suit. When challenged, their go-to move is a childish insult or some obscenity tossed out like a dodgeball. If it’s not a cartoon meme or a slogan they can chant, they’re lost. Depth just isn’t their thing.
Then there’s the casual relationship they have with the truth. Maybe it’s a learned behavior from their idol, but distortion and outright lying don’t seem to bother them one bit. And logic? Forget about it. Here’s a perfect example: the Hooples claimed that two busloads of protesters—roughly 110 people—were shipped into Payson. Yet in the same breath, they insisted only 20 people got off the buses. Makes no sense, but the Hoople crowd swallowed it whole.
And then came Saturday. A diesel truck-driving Hooplehead rolled past a line of peaceful demonstrators—many elderly—and deliberately belched out thick black exhaust. A shameful act by any decent standard, but among the Hooples? He was a hero.
This is what we’re up against: a movement allergic to facts, incapable of reasoned thought, and all too happy to embrace cruelty when it suits them.

Old Kadizzle is addicted to stirring up the Hoopleheads. There is a local facebook page in Payson where the dingers hang out. The MAGA liars are trying to rerun a smear campaign about Kadizzle. The most notorious liar, Gary Morris ran out of gas when he went to court with Kadizzle. Lying works fine on facebook, but no so well in court. Gary was doing fine with his lying in court until a different judge came up from Scottsdale. Gary's judge would not allow evidence against Gary and his lying. The judge from Scottsdale was honest and looked at all the evidence. Sadly for Gary Morris he was exposed as a pathological liar. Gary lost the case and resigned from his position as leader of the local Republican party.
All the facebook liars are the same. They print half truths, and misleading information, just like Gary did. Kadizzle has challenged every facebook liar to meet in person to defend their lies. Not one has the courage to meet face to face, yet they go on lying. Sometimes Kadizzle will see one of these liars in person. When you challenge them in person about their lying the reaction is always the same. They run. After they run from Kadizzle they will claim they were assaulted. Three that used the exact same tactic are mayor Steve Otto, Gary Morris, and Charlie Bell. Kadizzle approached Steve Otto in a town council meeting. Even with many people around who saw the truth, Otto claimed he was assaulted. Kadizzle met Gary Morris at a Tea Party meeting. Morris lies like a rug, and claimed Kadizzle spit on him. Kadizzle took a video of that encounter which clearly proves Morris lied. At a town hall meeting Kadizzle used the restroom. Charlie Bell used the restroom at the same time. Kadizzle spoke to Charlie Bell about what a hypocrite he is on the town council. Charlie Bell claimed Kadizzle followed him into the restroom and it was an assault.
The MAGA crowd in Payson is full of shameless liars. KMOG radio is the local version of Fox News. Yesterday KMOG spent an hour and a half trying to patch up the bad publicity they got in the Payson Roundup. Isaac Blake wrote a letter to the editor and exposed the fraud of KMOG.
MAGA lies are cheap and endless. The MAGA crowd claimed Democrats bussed people in for the rally on Saturday. A complete unsubstantiated lie. The numbers at the rally drove the lying Hoopleheads nuts. Democrats turned out well over 400 people. The MAGA crowd could only muster 50 at best and the real number was more like 20.
Challenge a runner like Gary Morris, Steve Otto, Michael Heather, Charlie Bell or any of the facebook liars and the result is always the same, they run and claim they were assaulted.
Now two of the lying runners are trapped. Charlie Bell and Steve Otto can't run because they are on town council. Every citizen can confront those two liar for three minutes and the liars have to take it. Isaac Blake has blasted the liars in town council meetings several times. So have many others.
Gary Morris was the original one who tried to smear Kadizzle with false claims Kadizzle has a record for assault. The claim is easily disproved. Now here is the strange part. Every MAGA liar voted for Trump. In court Trump has been convicted of sexual abuse, defrauding college students, an 39 felonies. The MAGA people have no problem with voting for a felon, but are all upset with the false claims against Kadizzle.
To top off the tactics of the MAGA liars on facebook they are trying to get someone to commit vandalism against our home or us. The MAGA dogs have published information on facebook so MAGA dogs can harass the Kadizzles at home. Also MAGA dogs have made threats against us. The MAGA dogs are a sad bunch. At MAGA rallies they carry guns. When Gary Morris and his MAGA dogs approached Kadizzle they were armed. This is the MAGA dog mentality.
The Oldest Trick in the Book — Lying by Omission in Payson Politics
There’s an old trick in the liar’s handbook: don’t lie outright, just leave out the important parts. It’s subtle, it’s slippery, and it’s exactly what’s happening here in Payson.
We’ve all seen it — people in power telling just enough of a story to seem truthful while conveniently leaving out the parts that might change your mind. It’s like bragging that you won a football game — at halftime. Technically, you were ahead. But anyone with an ounce of honesty knows that’s not how the game ends.
Right now in Payson, this tactic is being deployed not just occasionally, but systematically. From Mayor Steve Otto to Councilmen Paul Fromelt, Charlie Bell, and Gary Morris — we’ve got a roster of public figures who seem to have mastered the art of the half-truth.
Want an example? Let’s talk town finances. When the subject of a new community pool comes up, we’re told the town just “can’t afford it.” What’s left out? The millions spent elsewhere with little scrutiny, or the fact that a modest bond measure could fund the pool at a cost of just a few bucks a month to the average taxpayer. That context changes the story entirely — which is why they leave it out.
Or how about public safety and protests? When people gathered peacefully to express concerns about national and local issues, some leaders painted it as a threat, fueling paranoia about “outside agitators.” What they didn’t mention? The protest was organized by locals, attended by hundreds of concerned citizens, and completely peaceful — until a diesel truck deliberately rolled coal on senior demonstrators. That part somehow got left out of their version.
These aren’t harmless omissions. They shape public opinion. They distort reality. And they erode the trust we’re supposed to have in our leaders.
The people of Payson deserve better than halftime spin. We deserve the whole story — the messy, complex, inconvenient truth that democracy depends on. Half-truths are still lies. And those who spread them have no business calling themselves leaders.
Let’s stop settling for the edited version. Let’s demand full disclosure. And let’s remember that when someone tells you they won the game at halftime — they’re probably trying to hide the final score.
In court Gary Morris got busted lying about Kadizzle. The MAGA gang is trying to resuscitate the same old lies. Gary Morris was the head of the local Republican party. Poor old Gary the gun slinging little cowboy resigned after he was humiliated in court where Kadizzle proved he was a pathological liar. The MAGA liars did not learn a thing. Again they are promoting the same twisted lies.
What is amazing is they claim Kadizzle has a record, untrue, but they voted for Trump who is a convicted felon. Now, what sense does that make?
Lying Hoopleheads are amazing. After an amazing number of people turned out yesterday to protest the dictator the Hooples took a picture of two buses from google. The Hooples claimed the buses brought people from out of town. The Hooples posted the picture of buses on facebook and made their false claims. Then the silly Hooples said there were only 40 people. So it took two buses to bring only forty people? Of course the Hooples had to admit some of the 40 were local. So that means if you use Hooplehead logic it took two full size commercial buses to bring maybe 20 people.
Two simple minded Hooples set their exhaust on their Hoople wagons to spray people with diesel fuel. The Hooples were proud of their action. One of the Hoople truck drivers pulled a gun when he was confronted with his idiocy. These are the Trump birthday guys.
Should be an interesting day. In Payson the little men with their big guns will be out. Simple minded dingers will drive by giving patriots the finger. Trump will have his birthday dictator parade rained on. Makes you think there is a God. Will the country change course or go down the tubes? Today will say a lot.
The Hoopleheads are mentally slow, their reaction to anything they don't understand is to censor it. Kadizzle has been truth bombing the local Hooples on one of their chat sites. Block him they yell. The same Hooples make sure no normal people can attend Republican or Tea Party meetings. When the cult meets they want no heresy.
Cannot resist toying with the simple minded cult people. Payson has a facebook page that appeals to the Trump cult people. Taunting them into displaying how really ill informed and ignorant they are is fun. Most of them cannot make anything but a cartoon reply, a obscene comment, or repeat some crazy conspiracy theory or lie. It does serve a purpose. Normal people can see the mental deprivation of these people. It is obvious most of them did not finish high school.
Kadizzle has been toying with the cult on social media. Cult members love cartoons, and emojis of the finger. In the cult deep thought just does not happen. The fact these people are intellectually challenged is very obvious. The deplorables had a hard time in school, and their gene pool condemned them to shallow thinking. Trump loves them.
We now live in Russia, even if your coffee is warm and your beer is cold. Trump has used the military with glee to fight rioters. However, when rioters attack the Capitol, no problem. Saturday you need to get your ass off the couch and show up at a demonstration to try to preserve the country for our children. Trump admires dictators and is one. If you haven't noticed you will.
How is it people just don't notice how much money Trump is stealing. His wealth has doubled during his presidency. This doesn't count what his children and wife are stealing. Read about it in the New York Times. No con man has ever come close to Trump for his outright corruption.
The theft and corruption of Trump is dazzling, yet the Hoopleheads just can't see it. The New York Times editorial lays out the scope of the billions the Trump family has stolen. How can the cult fail to see the rat stealing the cheese? Diversion is the key. If a nuclear bomb fell on a dinger they would ask " But what about Joe Biden?". The dingers are deep in delusion. The Musk blow up should have awakened any normal person to the insanity of Trump and Musk, but no.
Unknown is back making comments on this blog. If you want a look into a cult mind, the mind of a child, a Hooplehead, or just a simple dinger check out the comments of "Unknown". The poor soul is a coward that cannot confront directly. Unknown plays the right wing tune. Try to blame everything on Biden. Wait, Elon is blaming Trump. What about? That is the only game the cult has when you ask a hard question. Ask a cult member about the con man Trump, and garanteed you will get the "What about?". Trump can do any immoral thing, and all the dingers have to say is " What about?". Try that in court.

It is crucial good Americans call in and support Jim and Diane. The three stooges Steve Otto, Jim Farris, and Charlie Bell are doing their best to destroy our town. Get with the program, pay attention. Democrats will meet at ten today at headquarters. Get your ass there.
Mayor Steve Otto of Payson lies like a rug as the old saying goes. Otto claimed on KKKMOG radio he was "tricked" into voting for progress on a new town pool. Anyone in Payson can go to the town website and see Otto vote for the pool. Otto had all the information and was certainly in a position to ask all the questions he wanted. Such blatant lying and the co conspiracy of KMOG is disgusting. Otto goes on the radio and distorts the cost of the bonding, and makes claims he knows are untrue. The bond was for 16 million, yet he continues to claim a cost of 40 million.
Any resident of Payson can watch the video of the recent special town council meeting on the town’s website. During that meeting, Steve Otto clearly voted to move the new pool project forward at the Malibu site. Yet the very next day, Mayor Otto went on KMOG radio and claimed he had been "tricked" into voting for it.
This is not only disingenuous—it’s dishonest.
Mayor Otto seems to be borrowing a page from the national Republican playbook: deny, deflect, and claim ignorance. You can’t have it both ways. Voting yes on a project and then pretending you didn’t understand what you were voting on may work with the Tea Party crowd, but the rest of us aren’t buying it.
Payson deserves honest leadership, not political gamesmanship.
Jim Farris, what a piece of work. Farris is on the Payson Town Council. Jim whines like a baby to get what he wants. Endlessly the adults in the room yesterday had to listen to Farris insist the new pool be built where the old pool was. Fortunately the adults won and the new pool will be in a sensible place. The three stooges, Otto, Bell, and Farris have a bizarre idea Payson has a deep state that is spending too much money. Jim Farris is the ferret that is going to cut cost and find the waste. Good old Jim who bitches about the salaries of town employees complains because the town cannot find a manager or a police chief, or an engineer. Now here it comes, Jim says offer more money.
Old Kadizzle could not sit through the idiocy brought on by the three stooges. How many angels can dance on the head of a pin? That kind of debate went on for hours while nothing got done. Charlie Bell and Farris vied for who could be the biggest hypocrite. The stooges last council meeting attacked the library. Too much sex at the library, and not enough at home for the stooges was the theme.
The special meeting that was supposed to start at four did not start until five thirty.
