Matt Andersen - Coal Mining Blues

Far away and long ago Kadizzle used to crawl  in and out of an underground coal mine.  Well, not really crawl, we walked or rode on some conveyance.  However, this song touches my heart because it reminds me so much of those days.  You will never get more dirty than spending a shift in a coal mine.  Listen to the song it will explain it.  After you come out of the mine and try to wash in the bath house, you can never get all the coal dust off you.  The worst place is around your eyes.  When you see a coal miner in a bar he looks like a racoon because of the coal dust around his eyes.
